Awaken Recovery is open to everyone regardless of a person's belief. The atmosphere is one of openness and freedom. That said, the focus of Awaken Recovery is centered around the person and work of Christ and the transforming power released through his message.

Everyone (18 & up) is welcome! Whoever may be wrestling with a particular addiction or struggle is encouraged to attend. The meetings are often focused on addiction (to drugs and/or alcohol); however, Awaken Recovery is geared toward helping a wide range of other issues.

Meetings are a time to connect with community and grow in your understanding of your personal identity as well as the love of God. There is a time of teaching, a time of sharing/celebration, and a time of reflection/music. Attendees are welcome to participate as much or as little as they'd like. We just ask that each person be respectful of others.

We encourage you to first come to an Awaken Recovery meeting where one of the leaders will help personally connect you with a mentor. However, you can also just call us at 973-728-3479 ext. 13 and we can set you up from there.
